BAKU -- Two people have been killed in what is believed to have been a gas explosion in Baku.
A blast at a gasoline station closed for repairs in Baku's Xatai district left two people dead and one injured late afternoon on February 13 in the Azerbaijani capital.
Local officials say the explosion was apparently caused by a gas leak in an underground gasoline tank.
Another explosion, also believed to have been caused by a gas leak, occurred in a building under construction in central Baku on February 13.
That blast left three people injured.
No official statements on the explosions have been made yet.
