KYZYL-KIYA, Kyrgyzstan -- Police in southern Kyrgyzstan have arrested six suspects in connection with a deadly attack on police officers, RFE/RL's Kyrgyz Service reports.
On October 27, several unknown assailants opened fire on a group of policemen in the town of Kyzyl-Kiya, Batken Oblast, killing two and severely wounding one of them.
Batken Oblast Interior Affairs Department spokesman Mairambek Tashtanov told RFE/RL that the suspects were arrested in Suzak district.
