Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev is completing a weeklong Middle East tour with a visit to Doha, Qatar.
The Kyrgyz presidential press service says Atambaev signed a decree on December 8 to establish an embassy in the Gulf state's capital, Doha.
The decree states that work on establishing an embassy should be completed within one month.
Atambaev signed a similar degree last week to open an embassy in Abu Dhabi during a visit to the United Arab Emirates.
Atambaev is expected to meet with top Qatari officials on December 8 to discuss bilateral economic, trade, and transportation issues.
Atambaev's visit took him to Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., and Qatar -- three countries where thousands of Kyrgyz are working.
