A series of bombings in Iraq have killed at least eight people and wounded more than 20 others.
Police in the town of Diyala, southeast of Baghdad, said a roadside bomb killed four people and wounded nine near the Diyala Bridge on July 19.
In the eastern Baghdad district of Al-Amin, police said two people were killed and eight wounded when a roadside bomb exploded near a busy cafe.
And two were killed and six wounded when an explosive went off on a busy street in the Baghdad suburb of Nahrawan.
No one claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the Islamic State militant group has carried out several similar attacks in and around Baghdad in recent months, usually in predominantly Shi'ite communities.
Meanwhile, officials in the eastern Diyala Province have fired a local police chief and three police officers in relation to the July 17 truck bombing at a crowded market that killed an estimated 120 people and wounded some 130 others.
