Kazakhstan's press service says that President Nursultan Nazarbayev has discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector during an official visit to China.
The press service said on April 5 that the Kazakh president and Zhou Jiping, president of the CNPC oil and gas corporation. "discussed design of the program for complex cooperation in the oil and gas sector, which is based on the approach of access to raw material in exchange for investments in the oil service and refinery projects.”
Nazarbayev is in China to attend the annual Boao Forum from April 6 to 8 in Hainan province, and to meet President Xi Jinping.
