Three miners are missing following an explosion and fire at an iron mine in Russia's Urals Mountains.
Two others were hospitalized in the January 17 incident. Officials said 86 miners were able to escape the mine safely.
The fire has been extinguished, officials said.
Prosecutors said they have opened an investigation into possible safety-regulation violations.
RFE/RL has been declared an "undesirable organization" by the Russian government.
