Alexander Bortnikov, the head of Russia's Federal Security Service, said Russia had identified groups behind the explosion of a Russian airliner over Egypt's Sinai peninsula, killing all 224 on board.
Bornikov did not specify which groups were involved and said the agency's investigation continues into the October 31 terrorist bombing of the passenger plane carrying mostly Russian tourists to St. Petersburg from Egypt's Sharm El-Shiekh resort.
"We roughly know the actors who may have been responsible for that. There is a great deal of work ahead," Bortnikov told reporters in Moscow.
