Five people died and 23 were injured when a Slovak bus bringing holidaymakers home from the Greek island of Corfu crashed on a highway in Serbia early on June 21, officials said.
Serbian police said the bus swerved off the highway connecting Belgrade and the Macedonian capital, Skopje.
Officials in Prague and Bratislava said three of the dead were Slovaks and the other two were Czechs.
Earlier reports said all five were Slovaks.
Serbia's Interior Ministry said the injured were being treated in hospitals in the towns of Aleksinac and Nis, some 200 kilometers south of Belgrade.
Altogether, reports said there were 29 passengers and two drivers on the bus at the time of the crash.
