Police in Russia's restive North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia have arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of a teacher at a madrasah, or Islamic religious school.
Interior Ministry officials say the arrested 53-year-old local citizen has confessed to the killing of teacher Yunus Alkhigov.
The suspect accused the madrasah teacher of sexually harassing his 19-year-old son.
The teacher’s corpse, bearing gunshot wounds, was found by local residents late October 11 in the village of Troitskaya in Sunzha district.
