The UN's high commissioner for human rights, Navi Pillay, is visiting Georgia to discuss the human rights situation in the country.
During her May 18-22 trip, Pillay will be meeting with President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, parliament speaker Davit Usupashvili, and other senior government officials.
The UN human rights chief will also hold discussions with the chairman of the Supreme Court, Kote Kublashvili, Public Defender Ucha Nanuashvili, as well as with civil society representatives and members of the international community in Tbilisi.
She will also visit a settlement for internally displaced persons and the administrative boundary line with breakaway South Ossetia.
