On 8 October, Putin is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, who has said the meeting will likely include the signing of an agreement supporting Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization.
The ITAR-TASS news agency says Putin will depart for an official visit to Tajikistan on 16 October.
