Nine Russian Soldiers Killed In Chechnya

22 February 2005 -- A Russian report says nine Russian soldiers have been killed and three others injured in the roof collapse of a poultry-processing facility on the outskirts of the Chechen capital, Grozny.

The Interfax news agency said officials were trying to determine the cause of the building collapse.

A cease-fire announced by Chechen separatist leader Aslan Maskhadov is due to expire today.
