No Radiation Poisoning Found In Gaidar


Yegor Gaidar in Moscow in July (file photo) (RFE/RL) December 2, 2006 -- Tests on former acting Russian Prime Minister Yegor Gaidar showed no sign of radiation poisoning.


Authorities also said no traces of radiation were found at the Dublin hospital where he was first treated. Gaidar is currently recovering in Russia, where he is said to be improving.


He became violently ill in Ireland on November 24. Russian doctors say they have found no cause for his ailment.
