Kyiv Marks Maidan Anniversary

RFE/RL used a drone with a GoPro camera to record exclusive footage of celebrations on Kyiv's Independence Square on November 21 marking the one-year anniversary of the start of the Maidan protests that led to the ouster of then-President Viktor Yanukovych. Ukrainian singer Ruslana -- who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 -- helped ensure the crowd were in a patriotic mood with a stirring rendition of the national anthem and chants of "Glory to Ukraine!"
