Bosnian Workers Clash With Police
Bosnian workers scuffled with police in the northern town of Tuzla during ongoing protests against the local government. The workers from a state-owned machine tools factory say they have not been paid properly for six months or longer. They set a deadline of June 4 for local officials to settle their back wages and secure new employment contracts. The protesters threatened to camp out in front of the government building until their demands are met.
