Anticorruption Protests Surge In Moldova

Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Chisinau on September 13 to demand the president's resignation in the wake of a massive scandal in which some $1 billion disappeared from the country's banks. Many protesters are camped out on a central square and have vowed that they will remain there.
