Putin Opens Largest Mosque In Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin led the ceremonial opening of the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, the largest mosque in the Russian capital, on September 23. The new mosque was built on the site of a smaller one that was destroyed in 2011. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas attended the ceremony. (Reuters)
