Former Belarusian Hockey Player Kaltsou Dies In Apparent Suicide

Belarusian ice hockey player Kanstantsin Kaltsou has died in Florida in an apparent suicide, police in Miami said. Police and rescue squads responded to a call on March 18 about a man jumping off a balcony at a Miami resort, a police statement said on March 19. His death was confirmed by Russian club Salavat Yulayev, where he was an assistant coach. Kaltsou, 42, played for the Belarusian national team in two Olympics and played professionally in the NHL.
