Hundreds of protesters have blocked the main street in the Moldovan capital to demand the government step down.
According to the AP news agency, demonstrators parked dozens of cars on Stephen the Great Boulevard in Chisinau during the morning rush hour on October 12.
Some 400 people took part in the two-hour protest organized by the leader of the pro-Moscow Our Party, Renato Usatii.
Protests have taken place in Moldova since September 6. Those taking part are demanding a probe into up to $1.5 billion that disappeared from three Moldovan banks before parliamentary elections in November 2014.
Protesters have erected tents in a pedestrian square and staged weekend protests.
The government has promised to investigate the missing money.
