QUETTA, Pakistan -- Pakistani officials say three doctors, their driver, and another man traveling with them have been kidnapped in southern Pakistan's Balochistan Province.
Sardar Khan of the Levies force, a pro-government paramilitary force in Balochistan, told RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal on June 13 that five Pakistani men were kidnapped as they were traveling to the funeral of a doctor on June 12.
Khan said the men were traveling on the road from the Loralai area to the Zhob area when they went missing. S
Security forces have been deployed around the Zhob area.
But authorities say they fear the kidnappers have already taken the captives to another region.
