A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words: Ahmadinejad's Foot Language

An Iranian blogger has put together a series of pictures of Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad in the presence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and visiting world leaders.

Some of the pictures are from the weekend visit to Tehran of Pakistan's President Asef Ali Zardari and Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir. (Ahmadinejad was not present at the June 25 meeting of Afghan President Hamid Karzai with Khamenei, which led to speculation that the reason was the ongoing power struggle between Ahmadinejad and Khamenei.) Other photos are older.

In most of them, you can't see Khamenei, who is sitting at the far right; but you can see Ahmadinejad and his "uneasy feet," which as the blogger has pointed out, could signal anxiety.
