Russian Orthodox Church activists burst into a theater show about the Pussy Riot feminist punk performance-art group, shouting "Repent!" and "Why do you hate Russians?" in an act filmed by a national Russian television channel.
None of the activists was reported arrested for disrupting the show at the Teatr.doc Theater in Moscow on August 27.
The show was about the case of the three Pussy Riot members who were jailed earlier this month over their "punk prayer" performance in February in the Orthodox Christ the Savior Cathedral, in which they called for an end to President Vladimir Putin's rule.
The three women were found guilty of "hooliganism motivated by religious hatred" and sentenced to two years in jail.
Their lawyers have appealed the verdict.
