The father of jailed Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova says he has held a 15-minute video conference with his daughter.
Tolokonnikova is currently undergoing a medical checkup at a hospital in the penitentiary system in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk.
She had gone on a hunger strike while at her previous prison in Mordovia.
Her father, Andrei Tolokonnikov, told Interfax on December 6 that Tolokonnikova did not complain about her treatment by hospital staff.
He also said there was a chance his daughter might remain in the medical facility until the end of her prison term in March 2014.
Tolokonnikova and fellow Pussy Riot member Maria Alyokhina are serving two-year sentences after being convicted of hooliganism motivated by religious hatred.
They were arrested in 2012 after a performance in a Moscow cathedral that criticized President Vladimir Putin.
