Russia's most famous icon -- the Trinity by Andrei Rublev -- was officially transferred to the use of Russia's Orthodox Church for a period of 49 years, despite protests from Russia's museum community. The transfer was signed by the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, and Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova.
