Neither Bush nor Aziz discussed publicly a deadly 13 January air strike in a remote Pakistani area near the Afghan border that was said to be launched by the United States.
Aziz said in an interview with the Associated Press later that he raised concerns privately with Bush about the missile attack, thought to be aimed at senior Al-Qaeda militants.
He said both leaders agreed that there was a need for better coordination and communication on such issues. He said the United States and Pakistan share a common objective.
