March 31, 2006 -- The U.S. State Department says Iran's latest missile test demonstrates Tehran's "aggressive military program."
Spokesman Adam Ereli said he had no technical details on the test firing. But, he said, Iran's military posture is of concern to the international community.
Earlier today, Iran said it successfully test-fired a new missile that can evade radar. The 5-meter-long Fajr-3 missile is said to be capable of carrying a 45-kilogram warhead to a distance of more than 40 kilometers.
