June 8, 2006 -- Romania today vowed to counter the findings of a Council of Europe report saying the country was one of several European states that colluded in the secret transfer of terrorist suspects by the United States.
Romania denies the accusations.
The report accused Romania and Poland of working with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to covertly transfer terror suspects and said the countries may have housed CIA detention centers.
