June 15, 2006 -- Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha called on Kosovo's ethnic Albanians to respect the Serb minority's rights, but he also said that stability in the region depends on Kosovo eventually gaining independence.
Berisha is currently in Prishtina, where he is meeting Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Ceku and Soren Jessen-Petersen, the outgoing head of the UN administration.
He is also due to address the parliament of the UN-administered Serbian province later in the day.
