July 2, 2006 -- Iraq's National Security Adviser Muwaffaq al-Rubay'i released a new list of most-wanted fugitives today that includes the wife and eldest daughter of deposed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.
Hussein's wife Sajida and daughter Raghad, both living in exile, are wanted in connection with "terrorism."
Also on the list are Izzat Ibrahim al-Duri, Hussein's chief deputy, who is still at large and suspected to be helping finance the insurgency in Iraq, and Abu Ayyub al-Masri, the new leader of Al-Qaeda in Iraq, who replaced Abu Mus'ab al-Zarqawi. Al-Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. air strike on June 7.
Al-Rubay'i also said that al-Zarqawi's body has been buried in accordance with Islamic traditions at an undisclosed location in Iraq.
