Ton Of Hidden Weapons Found In Bosnia

EUFOR troops on exercises in eastern Bosnia (file photo) (epa) July 8, 2006 -- European Union troops in  Bosnia have discovered a ton of illegally held ammunition in the east of  the country.

The EU mission, EUFOR, said in a statement that the huge cache was found late on July 7 near the Bosnian Serb town of Misevina.

EUFOR said it had acted on a tip-off from a local resident.
