Car Bomb Kills 14 In Baghdad, 60 Bodies Found

The site of a car bomb explosion at Al-Mansur district in western Baghdad, September 12, 2006 (epa) September 13, 2006 -- Iraqi police say a car bomb exploded in eastern Baghdad today, killing at least 14 people and wounding at least 57 others.
The bomb detonated in a square used as a parking lot near the headquarters of Baghdad's traffic police department.

Police also say that in the past 24 hours they have found 60 bodies around the capital.


Most were bound, bore signs of torture, and had been shot.
