At Least 20 Killed In Northern Iraq

Iraqi and U.S. soldiers on the site of a suicide attack in Kirkuk in June (epa) September 17, 2006 -- A suicide car bomber killed at least 20 people today in an attack on a police station in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk.

In another attack in Kirkuk, a bomb placed in a truck near the offices of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan caused an unknown number of casualties.


In the capital Baghdad, unknown gunmen killed two Iraqi policemen while they were on patrol.
