April 28, 2007 -- Azerbaijan says it will go ahead with a high-level visit to the United States that it had canceled in protest of a U.S. State Department human rights report.
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov says the delegates from Baku would proceed with the visit after the State Department changed wording in the report on Nargorno-Karabakh, an area in Azerbaijan controled by ethnic Armenians.
Mammadyarov said a new date will be set for the security talks, which originally were scheduled to begin on April 30.
