Three members of the female punk protest group Pussy Riot are on trial in Moscow on charges of hooliganism for disrupting a service in an Orthodox cathedral. The defendants said they will plead guilty to "ethical misdemeanor" charges but maintain that their actions do not justify criminal charges. They face up to seven years in prison if convicted.
