Europe's First Gay-Friendly Mosque Opens In Paris

Muslim gay-rights activist Ludovic-Mohamed Zahed has founded a small independent mosque that welcomes all Muslims regardless of sexual orientation. The mosque, which shares space with a Buddhist meditation center, was to open for Friday prayers on November 30. Zahed has faced strong opposition from some Muslim leaders, but he also says he has received a surprising number of messages of support and interest. (Reuters video)
