The Chinese authorities have detained the brother-in-law of jailed Nobel Peace Prize laureate Liu Xiaobo.
His lawyer says Liu Hui was detained in January.
He is accused of committing fraud in a real estate deal.
Lawyer Mo Shaoping on March 29 described the evidence against him as "insufficient."

He had circulated a manifesto, Charter 08, calling for democratic reform.
His wife, Liu Xia, has been under house arrest in Beijing since he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2010.
