Riot police and protesters have clashed in Kyiv, leaving dozens wounded, including Yuriy Lutsenko, a former interior minister. The unrest in the Ukrainian capital erupted late on January 10 after a court there handed down a six-year jail sentence to three men for trying to blow up a statue of Soviet state founder Vladimir Lenin in 2011.
