A 5.3-magnitude earthquake rocked central Serbia overnight, killing at least two people and causing dozens of injuries and damage to buildings.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck 125 kilometers south of the Serbian capital, Belgrade, with the hardest-hit area being around the town of Kraljevo.
Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said a couple, both 68, died in a Kraljevo suburb when the roof and the first floor of their house collapsed.
Buildings in the town were damaged, with electricity and running water knocked out in parts of the town.
The quake was felt in Belgrade and was also felt in neighboring Romania, Croatia, and Macedonia.
