WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- U.S. President Barack Obama is expected to release his review of U.S. policy toward Afghanistan on March 27, a U.S. official said on March 24.
The official declined to provide any details about the much anticipated review. The United States has been looking at ways to boost resources to combat the Afghan insurgency after Obama announced earlier this year the deployment of 17,000 more U.S. troops to Afghanistan.
