Clerics Give Blood For Afghan Troops As Taliban Advances

"The battlefield and the mosque are one," a religious scholar told RFE/RL's Radio Azadi as clerics donate blood for Afghan Army soldiers wounded while fighting Taliban militants. As the Taliban gains ground across the country, an army commander at the event says it is a way for ordinary civilians to help support Afghan troops.
