Turkey, Armenia Free To Start Direct Air Cargo Trade

A ban on direct air cargo transportation between Turkey and Armenia has been lifted, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said on January 6. Turkey’s state-owned Anadolu news agency also reported the lifting of the ban, which was one of the agreements reached during a meeting of special representatives of Armenia and Turkey on July 1. Anadolu cited diplomatic sources as saying that the Turkish Trade Ministry had informed Turkey’s exporters' associations of the decision.
