The International Olympic Committee (IOC) says it will look into allegations that Azerbaijan was promised two gold medals at next year's London Olympics in exchange of cash.
On September 22, a report by British broadcaster BBC said the International Boxing Association (AIBA) had received a loan of several million dollars from an unnamed private Azeri investor that was meant to secure Olympic success in 2012.
The AIBA rejected the claims as "untrue," but said it will investigate.
The IOC said it will wait for the outcome of the AIBA probe before looking into it further.
