Bulgaria is threatening to block two naturalized Azerbaijani athletes from competing at the London Olympics later this year.
Boyanka Kostova and Valentin Hristov switched allegiance last year, but only after the Azeri wrestling federation agreed to pay their Bulgarian counterparts a fee of 400,000 euros.
Now, the Bulgarian wrestling federation is demanding Azerbaijan pay more, arguing the original fee did not cover this year's Summer Olympics but only last year's world championships.
The Azeri federation opposes paying any more money and said it is ready to take legal action if Bulgaria blocks the duo's participation in London.
