Emergency officials say at least three people died after an explosion in a high-rise building in the Moldovan capital.
Officials said the October 6 blast, which ripped through several apartments in the Chisinau building, appeared to be caused by a gas canister, and injured six other people.
State broadcaster Teleradio Moldova posted photos and videos of what it said was the aftermath of a "strong explosion" in the residential building.
The emergency services spokeswoman said that some residents illegally stored gas in apartments because the units were not connected to the city gas supplies.
Witnesses said several residents had stored gas canisters on their balconies.
