Czech President Petr Pavel says the only way to achieve stability in Eastern Europe is to have "Ukraine on board both in NATO and the EU." Speaking with RFE/RL's Natalie Sedletska on June 14 in Prague, he also said that "all Russians living in Western countries should be monitored" by security services. "That's simply the cost of war," he added.
