The Czech Republic is easing a ban on the sale of hard alcohol.
Twenty-six people have died in the Central European state as a result of drinking alcohol tainted with methanol.
Prime Minister Petr Necas said the partial ban was being lifted because police had found the source of the deadly bootleg booze.
Necas said stores could now sell hard alcohol not made this year and hard alcohol made this year but marked by a new tax stamp.
Necas said exports could be allowed within a few days following consultations with the EU.
