Georgian President Warns EU Rejection Would Aid Russia

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has warned that a decision at a European Union summit this week not to grant her country EU candidate status would have "very bad" consequences. Speaking to RFE/RL's Ray Furlong in Prague on December 12, she said it would play into Russia's hands, enabling it to exploit frustration in Georgia to spread anti-EU sentiment.
