EU Officials Hail Greek-Macedonian Name Deal

European Union representatives attended the June 17 signing ceremony of an agreement resolving the 27-year-long dispute between Greece and Macedonia over the latter country's official name. Speaking after the ceremony in the Greek village of Psarades, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said it was "a very good day for the European Union." EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn described the event as "the beginning of a new journey."
