The hearing of two Americans accused of spying in Iran has been postponed.
A closed-door second hearing at Tehran's Revolutionary court had been scheduled for May 11 after the trial began on February 6 and lasted just a few hours.
The judiciary gave no reason for the postponement nor a date for the next session. Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal were arrested in July 2009 along with a third U.S. citizen, Sarah Shourd, after crossing into Iran from Iraq.
Shourd, who was released on bail in September and returned home, has said she will not return to Tehran to stand trial.
All three have denied the spying charges leveled against them and said they unintentionally crossed the border.
The case has further complicated relations between Iran and the United States, which are already strained over the Iran's controversial nuclear program.
