Iran has revealed a previously undisclosed underground bunker housing its latest ballistic missile.
State media said on January 5 that the underground base had been inaugurated by parliament speaker Ali Larijani, with television showing Emad missiles in store.
United Nations experts have concluded that Tehran violated a UN Security Council resolution prohibiting Tehran from launching ballistic missiles when it tested an Emad rocket in October.
The Obama administration has threatened to respond to the missile test with new sanctions against Iran.
"We are fully prepared to use sanctions with respect to this most recent ballistic missile test [and] are still working through some technical issues there," State Department spokesman John Kirby said on January 5.
Tehran revealed in October another underground missile depot housing missiles and launcher units.
